Many people on irc seem to ask the same questions, time after time. HOW DO I USE THIS COMPUTAR MACHINE!? Well Im here to help.

Anything that is underlined means you replace it with the value. some commands look like they should be replaced, but they shouldnt, so if its not underlined, ENTER IT AS IT IS.

READ ME IF THE COMMANDS DONT WORK (THAT MEANS YOU IRSSI USERS)
You need to put /quote before each command on irssi. Otherwise it wont use the server's alias and you will get nowhere.

How do I register my nick?
This is the most common and yet seemingly confusing question everyone asks, yet its quite simple. Click over to your client's status window (because you might accidently send the command to the channel if you make an idiotic mistake while doing it in a channel window), then type the following command:
/register password email.
WOAH HOLD IT! ITS UNDERLINED! You know what that means! YES, replace the text "password" with the actual password you would like to use. Same with email, enter a VALID email address. Why valid? Because otherwise if you lose your password, you lose your nick.

I am an idiot, I did the identify command in a channel window and managed to screw something up and send the whole thing including my password to the channel. How do I change my password?
Well dufus, its quite simple. Just use
/ns set password newpassword
Notice the first "password" isnt underlined. This is because it is part of the command. Only replace the second part telling it what you want the new password to be.

I got disconnected, but my nick is still online. Can you kill it for me?
Stop fucking asking, just use the nickserv ghost command, which will kill the nick for you, no nagging of moi required.
/ns ghost nick pass

How do I register a channel?
Firstly, you must join the channel AND be oped. It will not work if you arent oped. Once you are OPed, use the /register command again, like so:
/register channel password description
The channel is duh the channel you are registering. Make sure to include the hash sign.
The password will be used to gain founder access from another nick if you need to.
The description will show up when you use the chanserv info command like so:
/cs info #channel

How do I add someone as an auto half/super/op/voice?
Use the correct command
/cs [hop|sop|aop|vop] channel add nick
Choose from the choices in the brackets (not dont PUT the brackets) and use the command. The first letter of each command corresponds to the level it represents.
