During the hours of 8am and 12pm on friday, December 28th, Pier-44 will be down for a short period of time. During this time you will be unable to connect. Please feel free to get up from your computer and go outside, maybe even take a walk, do some exercise, or clean out your room.

In order to cut costs, the eu server has been discontinued. If you are currently unable to connect, please connect via “irc.p44.org” instead of an alternate hostname or ip.

Due to lack of funding, the U.S. Server will be shutting down sometime in the near future. It has been removed from the round-robin, please update your clients.

Pier Playhouse, our online quote database is now back up. The url has changed do to our domain registar, Registerfly, failing to renew domains. We have since switched our remaining domains over to GoDaddy to prevent this happening in the future.

Both irc servers have been upgraded to the most recent version of Unreal IRCD.

I’ve added a donation option at the bottom of the page. If you’d like to donate, feel free. I don’t expect any donations, but any I get will be used to pay for p44.

There have been some small changes to the help on this website. Feel free to suggest any other entries by comment or e-mail.

Just a note to those who haven’t noticed. Both IRC Servers have been renamed. Please check the servers page for their new names.

Pier-44 has launched their new website design today. Our new website features a brand new blog, a simplier design, new logo, redesigned forums, as well as comments on news articles. A new help section is on the way, but most questions are already answered in our forums.
